Father’s Day Dilemma

What do you get your Dad on Father’s day? There are only so many ties, socks or chocolates that a man can have. There are also only so many novelty bits and bobs that you can give your dad every Christmas, Birthday and Father’s Day.

So when Dad said to me I don’t really need any socks, or a tie and I am on a diet what is a girl to do? Yes I work in the wine trade and therefore getting my hands on booze is easy but sometimes you want that extra special boozey treat. After having scoured Majestic Wine and Sparkling Direct and not finding anything that jumped out at me I turned to Vintage Wine Gifts.

It is a new website to me and I did my usual, “Oh I am not sure about this”, but then once I had a quick scout around I was loving it! Not only can you search for a particular vintage, perfect for special year presents, but also for specific wines and regions! They have a great range from break the bank account wine, such as Chateau Cheval Blanc 1959 1er Grand Cru Classe St Emilion to wines which anyone could afford such as Castle Creek Cabernet Sauvignon 1998 .

So after doing a lot of searching and thinking what my Dad likes to drink, which basically is anything that is alcoholic I made a selection and took advantage of the next day delivery! Lets hope that he likes it, though if not it means I will get a nice bottle of wine!
