As every girl will admit, we are shoe lovers and if heels are involved its even better!
I was at my friends wedding recently and this proved to be a shoe nightmare. There is a definite heel debate:
- Can’t be too high as need to be able to stand for a prolonged time.
- Can’t be too high as will be taller than the bride and groom - not a good look for the pictures I can tell you!
- Can’t be painful as blisters are not sexy nor good for dancing in later, and drinking copious amounts to make them comfortable is also not acceptable, well not until the night.
- Can’t be too low as boyfriend will be too tall.
- Can’t be flats as calfs look bad in dress.
The only outcome I could think of was to have two different outfits and therefore two different pairs of shoes! The sensible day shoes which were highly appropriate for the standing around, walking and pictures and the far too high but can dance in them ones for the night time. Yes I may have come off slightly blistered with burning balls of the feet, but you know what, it was worth it!!!!
So here is the motto, why buy one pair when you can have two and change?!
