Brilliant Bordeaux?

I will admit before I go any further that I am not a real Bordeaux lover. I find them all a bit samey and just lacking a certain something. I am more of an Austrailin Shiraz kinda gal, a wine that has a full body and a real something to it. Superb Chenin Blanc: Old World Vs New World

Firstly I have to say I have no preference for either New World or Old World wine so I was going into this blind tasting with my eyes clearly blindfolded.
